Autism Risk Genes, Transcending Racial Boundaries
A large-scale study in Latin America identified genes associated with autism risk, which were found to be nearly identical to those discovered in European population studies. This suggests that autism risk genes are largely unaffected by racial differences, potentially leading to significant advancements in global genetic screening and treatment development.
