1. What may be protected
Unless stated otherwise, BioPlayground’s original wording, selection, arrangement, figures, visuals, code, and database organization may be protected. © BioPlayground. All rights reserved unless otherwise indicated.
We do not claim ownership of facts, ideas, discoveries, scientific principles, or third-party material.
2. Quotation and attribution
Use only the amount reasonably needed for your purpose and distinguish the quotation from your own work. Where practical, identify BioPlayground, the content title, and the original URL.
Quotation, fair use, and other statutory permissions remain available without separate permission.
3. Redistribution and mirrors
Prior written permission is required to place all or a substantial part of the content in another site, app, document, newsletter, or data product, or to offer a copy that substitutes for the original.
Search results and introductions may link to the original with a short excerpt; they may not remove the practical need to visit BioPlayground.
4. Databases and automation
Even where individual items may be used lawfully, you may not extract all or a substantial part of the site or a category, or repeatedly and systematically extract smaller parts in a way that harms normal database use.
- Rotating IPs or sessions or bypassing technical and rate controls
- Rapid sequential traversal and storage of original pages
- Offering collected material as a standalone data product beyond a search index
5. AI systems
Ordinary web-search indexing and linking are welcome. Prior written permission is required to reproduce or distribute protected text or a substantial database portion for model training, fine-tuning, benchmarks, vector databases, RAG, summary datasets, or comparable services.
AI involvement alone does not remove uses that the law permits, and any specific open license takes precedence.
6. Third-party and user content
Papers, abstracts, images, marks, data, and user posts with a separate source remain subject to the original holder’s terms. For a rights inquiry or removal request, send the content URL, basis of the claim, requested action, and contact details through the official channel.
7. Permission
We can discuss educational distribution, translations, publishing, partnerships, APIs, or data access. Describe the content, purpose, audience, amount, duration, commercial status, and proposed attribution.
Applicable quotation, fair-use, and statutory rights take precedence. This policy is not legal advice for a particular dispute.
