Insmed (INSM) has released long-term clinical data for TPIP (treprostinil palmitil inhalation powder), an inhaled prostacyclin analog prodrug for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). The 12-month analysis of the Phase 2 open-label extension (OLE) study showed that patients in the once-daily TPIP group experienced a 56-meter improvement in 6-minute walk distance (6MWD). Patients who switched from placebo to TPIP also showed a 54-meter improvement, demonstrating long-term efficacy and safety.
