Definition
Lab protocol timer — A multi-step timer that runs experimental protocols sequentially. Each step ends with an audio alert and auto-advances to the next step.
Purpose
(1) Western blot — automate Block 1h → Primary Ab 2h → Wash 5min×3 → Secondary Ab 1h → Wash 5min×3 (2) ICC/IHC — manage Fixation → Permeabilization → Block → Antibody incubation times (3) Multi-step digestion/ligation (restriction → CIP → ligation) (4) Time-sensitive protocols such as tissue processing and ELISA
How to Use
① Click + Add Step to add a step ② Enter step name and duration (h/m/s) ③ Click Start → first step countdown begins ④ On finish, alarm sounds and auto-advances to the next step Pause/Reset available mid-run. Step reorder and delete supported. Runs even when browser tab is in background.
